PsiXpda 3G-enabled UMPC Debuts in UK

Another player in the UMPC market has announced that they’ll be releasing a new device to customers in the UK. Dubbed your “ultimate pocket computer”, the new PsiXpda ultraportable is a great piece of high-tech gadgetry that perfectly combines a stylish exquisite design with portability, the much-needed power and essential PC functionality.
Also slated as one of the world’s smallest and lightest UMPC devices on the market, the new PsiXpda begs for attention with a sliding, tilting 4.8-inch 800 x 480 resistive touchscreen display, its full QWERTY keyboard (that looks very easy and comfortable to type) and the 1.1GHz Intel Atom Z510 processor. On top of that you’re also getting 1GB of RAM, 16GB of SSD storage Wi-Fi (b/g), Bluetooth 2.0+EDR support and optional 3G, along with a webcam and a 1,850mAh battery pack that would require charging around every 4 hours.
The lightweight PsiXpda UMPC runs Windows XP and should cost £500 (or some $830 at today’s rate). Worth it? We’ll let you decide if that amount of green won’t buy you a high-end netbook with amazing specs — maybe the new Eee PC 1201N?
