Nokia N87 12MP Handset to Replace the N86

Released sometime early this year, Nokia’s powerful N86 seems to be getting an upgraded soon. Although it managed to get to our hearts with its 8-megapixel camera phone, a 2.6-inch QVGA, OLED screen and 8GB of built-in memory, it looks like its successor, the new Nokia N87 smartphone, is all geared up to lunch with a staggering 12.1 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon/Dual LED flash, and a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) resolution.
But that’s not all you’re getting with the new Nokia N78. If we’re to believe the rumors and the above “leaked” image, it looks like the handset will be getting double memory up to 16GB (pretty sure it’s via a microSD slot), a snappier processor running @ 600 MHz and a slide-out section with multimedia keys.
None of these have been confirmed by Nokia so far, so better take it with a pinch of salt, because even though a Nokia N86 upgrade sounds like a great deal, we’re not sure if that’s exactly what’s going to be packed under the hood.
