Microsoft Office 2010 Released Scheduled

Is Office 2007 not striking your fancy anymore? Then you’re in luck, as Microsoft has taken the veil off the release for Microsoft Office 2010. Office 2010 will be launched in retail outlets in June 2010, although it will be coming on new computers before that, as well as for download on MSDN.
The newest iteration of Office will come in six different editions, Starter, Home and Student, Home and Business, Standard, Professional and Professional Plus, each with different costs and arrangements of include applications. Starter will be free, but will include only Word and Excel, and will feature advertising in your face. No pricing has been announced by Microsoft for the other packages yet.
Microsoft is sticking with their Ribbon interface that caused some controversy when they released Office 2007. All of your old favorites are still going to be included, like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher plus others. If your curious, the public beta is still up and you still can try Office 2010 before you buy.
