Free Photoshop iPhone App (Photoshop.com Mobile) Gains Global Release

We covered it back in October when it became available in the US and Canada and, yes, we bemoaned the fact that the Photoshop iPhone App (known as Photoshop.com Mobile) was not, yet, available outside these zones – but now the free Photoshop iPhone App is up for grabs for those outside the US and Canada, and it’s about time too.
We covered what’s on offer concerning the Photoshop.com Mobile app pretty extensively in the aforementioned posting but, by way of a refresh, the Photoshop App brings a wide variety of tools to your fingertips encompassing basic functions such as image cropping, resizing and rotating as well as more complex image editing functions such taking in image fine tuning (exposure, tint and vibrancy, for example) as well as providing an array of special effects that are sure to assist you in making your imagery ‘pop’ such as blurring and sketch.

“As the digital imaging leader, Adobe is excited to bring Photoshop.com Mobile to iPhone users,” said Doug Mack, vice president and general manager of Consumer and Hosted Solutions at Adobe. “Now, with access to powerful editing and sharing tools, iPhone users are armed with the resources to document all of life’s unexpected moments, make them look their best and then re-live those memories with friends and family.”
Offered for free whilst giving access to a free account at Photoshop.com which will see you gain 2GB of remote storage space to store your photos online, Photoshop.com Mobile is available as of now outside the US and Canada and, of course, its also compatible with the iPod Touch.
We had to wait for it but, and this goes without saying (it is from Adobe after all), boy was it worth it.
