Although Motorola Droid got all the attention last month released on Verizon, it looks like the HTC Droid Eris is not that bad, either, but if you’re to consider that today’s Black Friday deals at Walmart sold the Android-based Droid Eris for a “highly discounted” price of $30 (from $100), it makes the whole thing even more interested — of course if you’re in for a two year contract with Bid Red.

Although cheaper than what you knew, the HTC Droid Eris features the same 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, the same 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Bluetooth v2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, a full HTML browser w/ Wi-Fi, Android 1.5 Donut running the show and HTC’s breakthrough new Sense UI. Of course there’s 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity and Google Support (Google Maps, Gmail, Google Search and more).

Included with the sale there’s a standard Li-Ion Battery (1300 mAh), 8GB MicroSD Card, wall/USB charger and a mini USB cable.

Better hurry to a Walmart retail store or check them out online, because the deal is not going to last for much more.
