Nokia 6750 Gains Rogers Wireless Release

Nokia and Rogers Wireless have confirmed the immediate availability of the Nokia 6750, also known as Nokia 6750 Mural, which very much falls in to fashion phone category of handsets thanks to its sleek styling, hidden display and illuminating external screen.

The Rogers Wireless Nokia 6750 Mural, which runs Series 40 6th Edition, offers Quad-Band EDGE and Tri-Band HSPA connectivity whilst, aside from the outer translucent display, which can be customised to illuminate in various colors based on specific contacts when receiving a call, also comes with dedicated external music keys, allowing you to access and control audio without flipping open the handset (it’s a clamshell) and, whilst we’re concerning ourselves with its audio capabilities, you can factor in Stereo Bluetooth (2.1 +EDR) – allowing the Nokia 6750 to pair with wireless headphones, speakers and the like.

Additional highlights include integrated WiFi, inbuilt GPS (A-GPS) functionality, 70MB of in built storage capacity, which can be supplemented by up to 16GB with a microSD memory card and  a (wholly lame) 2 megapixel camera, whilst, in terms of battery life, you’re looking at up to four hours talktime and up to 18 days standby time.

Billed as being the ideal style phone for music lovers, the Nokia 6750 Mural Rogers Wireless will set you back some $100 based on a 3 year contract, $150 and $230 for 2 and one year contracts or $280 monthly (pricing correct at the time of posting).

Note: Though apparently available as of now according to the Nokia/Rogers press release the Nokia 6750 is presently listed as ‘out of stock’ on Roger’s website but we’d expect that to change any time now.
