Unveiled in Japan a while back and officially announced for release in the US just a few days ago, the new Lenovo U150 ultraportable is slated as a powerful piece of gadgetry that actually shows off with its aesthetics. But since some were put off by its $649 official price tag, the folks from Dealzon have decided to sweeten the deal — after all it’s ThanksGiving today and Black Friday tomorrow, and have announced a special offer that makes it cheaper by $147.35 from their base price of $699.

Now priced at $551.65, the new Lenovo IdeaPad U150 is the same top of the line netbook/notebook crossbreed we knew. It runs on the same 1.3GHz Pentium Dual Core or Core 2 Duo processor, has up to4 GB of RAM and a 11.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display. There’s also Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and Wi-Fi (b/g) connectivity (802.11n standard for the Core 2 Duo model), includes Gigabit ethernet, either two USB 2.0 ports or the USB/eSATA combo, VGA and HDMI.

Available a standard 6-cell battery that keeps it running for about 7 hours, and given the fact that it ships for a much cheaper price, the new Lenovo IdeaPad U150 certainly makes for a great gift this holiday season.
