Gigabyte Booktop M1305 Notebook Breaks Cover [13.3" Booktop M1305 to Impress With CULV Processors & Desktop Graphics Cards, Price Announced]

Renowned for their amazing rigs and amazing products, the folks from Gigabyte have just added to their notebook collection with the new Booktop M1305. A stunning 13.3-inch machine running on CULV processors and featuring a desktop graphics card under the hood, the Gigabyte Booktop M1305 not only looks like a very good alternative to the powerful computer PC you have at home, it actually is one.
A basic Gigabyte Booktop M1305 notebook has a 13.3-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, runs on Inte’s Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor @ 1.3GHz , has up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, an optical drive, a 6-cell 3800mAh battery pack (good for 5-6 hours) and integrated Intel graphics. Of course there’s also the option for a secondary 4-cell battery (for up to 10 hours of work time), but you’ll have to forget the drive.
On top of that there’s also Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, eSATA/USB 2.0 combo port, HDMI connector, two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, a D-sub connector, a a finger print reader and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam.
However, the most interesting feature of the Booktop M1305 is the fact that there’s a docking station that features a desktop NVIDIA GeForce GT220 graphics card with 1GB of RAM — perfect for rendering 3D imagery. Like it? The drawback for now is that you’ll have to use an external display to get things working, but that’s something gamers like me, could live with. Speaking of the dock, it brings DVI, HDMI and D-sub connectivity, along with 6 USB 2.0 ports.
Delivering with Windows 7 Home Premium, the new Gigabyte Booktop M1305 is expected to sell around $1,250 (including the dock). Not bad, eh?
