BenQ 19" G920WL & 18.5" G922HDL Widescreen LED Monitors Promise Low Power Consumption

BenQ is appealing to the green minded by announcing two new models in their G series of widescreen LED monitors. Dubbed Benq G920WL and Benq G922HDL, both displays have been designed as “eco” models hence why they boast the lowest power consumption in their class.

Both models promise truly jaw-dropping clarity, intense detail and faithfully reproduced colors,contain no mercury and bring the company’s Senseye 3 Human Vision technology that enables selecting an appropriate image quality, depth and clarity of one hand touch.

Of the two, it’s the new BenQ G920WL LED monitor that comes with a 19-inch widescreen panel, delivers 1440×900 WXGA+ resolution, 16:10 aspect and has a 250cd/m2 brightness, 5,000,000 : 1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a 5ms response time. Connectivity wise, the G920WL has both a D-Sub and a DVI port. Power consumption is at 10W.

Slim and stylish, the 18.5-inch BenQ G922HDL monitor boasts a 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366×768 WXGA resolutions, runs on 11W (reducing power consumption by 60%) and has the same 5,000,000:1 ultra-high dynamic contrast ratio and the fast 5ms response time.

Priced at £99 for the 19-inch BenQ G920WL and £95 for the 18.5-inch BenQ G922HDL, both monitors are already available starting today — at least in the UK.
