BassJump Subwoofer for MacBook Notebooks

USB-powered Subwoofer from Twelve South For a Better MacBook Experience

MacBook laptops are renowned for their performance and versatility, but it’s a fact that cramming that much in such a little device, involves sacrifices, and one of the things that come to mind, is that you can’t actually throw in a party with it. Well not anymore, as the folks from Twelve South — a company which dedicates itself to building Apple accessories, have come out with a beautifully designed subwoofer for your MacBook.

The BassJump is a solitary speaker that connects via a single USB cable. Turning your device into a mini soudn system, the BassJump is meant for the true Mac fan looking to compliment their notebook, in both aesthetics and sound.

On top of that, it’s bundled with the company’s proprietary software that remixes the vibes coming out of your MacBook and uses its integrated speakers as tweeters while it handles the much-needed bass.

Although not coming in cheap at $80, the new BassJump is supposedly better than a 2.1 speakers system and way better looking.

It certainly makes for a nice gift this holiday season, don’t you think?
