Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Price Official

If up until now the much anticipated Android-powered Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 has done a great job in teasing us with its amazing specs and the far away February 2010 release date, today we finally found out what the handset is expected to retail for, and we can confirm that that the high-end smartphone won’t come in cheap.
Meant as Sony Ericsson’s flagship model, the new XPERIA X10 is expected to bring a breath of fresh air and a well-needed boost that would help the company return to profit after several loss-making quarters. Hence why the handset is expected to sell for around 6,000 Swedish kronor (or some$870 at today’s rate) when released early next year.
But not all is lost if we’re to consider that the Swedish manufacturer is actually spending time convincing US carriers in getting the X10 and offer it to US customers for a much cheaper price that includes a contract prolongation.
We’re a bit confused as we never imagined the XPERIA X10 will come out with a sky-high price tag, but it’s a recession and a company gotta do what a company gotta do. Right? No!
