Smartfish ErgoMotion Mouse With Raised Platform for "Natural" Movement [ErgoMotion Wireless Laser Mouse Looks Badass, Numbs Your Hand?]

SmartFish ErgoMotion Laser Mouse 1

Just when we thought the OpenOffice Mouse debacle and the Sony Vaio X “dead rat” are going to be the most popular models this month, we laid our eyes a new mouse introduced by the folks from Smartfish Technologies. The Smartfish Ergomotion mouse functions like any other run-of-the-mill wireless laser mouse, with some pretty large left and right buttons and a big scroll wheel.

But the Smartfish ErgoMotion is not just another model in the large mouse pool, because it brings an element of innovation as it allows users to place their hand on a raised platform on the mouse that allows to tilt it in all directions, for a more “natural” motion that will supposedly help avoid RSI (repetitive strain injury). But as weird as it may seem the new ErgoMotion mouse works out more muscles on your arm, which leads to hand fatigue after all. So maybe it’s not that great?

Connected to your PC via a little USB wireless dongle, the new SmartFish ErgoMotion mouse became available today for $50.

By utilizing more muscle groups than an ordinary mouse the Ergomotion Mouse is much less fatiguing! The burden is shared by multiple muscle groups because of our patented pivot system. An ordinary mouse by nature is more fatiguing and uncomfortable.
