Nixon Platform Watch Becomes Available [Nixon Watches Collection Gets New Platform Timepiece]

Nixon Platform Watch

One of our favorite watch brands here on TFTS, Nixon has added to their watch collection just in time for the holidays, with the new Platform. A perfect combination of bold and minimalist style for the fashion conscious geek, the Platform watch ships with a custom stainless steel case with hardened mineral crystal, an oversized face that would welcome a helicopter to land and a rather chunky build that gets the eye on a first glance.

Available in black, silver, gunmetal and orange colorways, Nixon’s Platform is water resistant to 100m, runs on a 3-hand Japanese Quartz movement with light, has a triple gasket crown and a solid stainless steel band with a custom locking clasp. That’s what we like to call a simple, yet sophisticated timepiece, that oozes finesse and refinement.

Price wise, many would think such a fine example of “haute horologerie”, shouldn’t be an affordable accessory to adore your wrist. That’s where you’re wrong as the California watch brand is going to sell the new Platform watch between $160 and $180 (for the all black and gunmetal models).

Neat, eh?
