T-Mobile Sidekick Sales Resume

T-Mobile Try to Put Sidekick Data Loss Issues Behind Them, But Can You?

Few if any of you will not be well versed with the data loss issues that plagued Sidekick users back in October (you can catch up here should you not know what we’re talking about) which, thankfully, appear to be resolved and now, a month on, T-Mobile are once again offering the Sidekick for sale as they try to put the past issues behind them.

T-Mobile announced that the Sidekick is once again available to purchase with the following statement which, as you’ll note, understandably makes no mention of the issues that have previously plagued it:

“T-Mobile is pleased to announce that Sidekick sales have resumed. New pricing for the Sidekick LX 2009 will be $149.99 with a two-year contract and the Sidekick 2008 will be $49.99 with a two-year contract.”

What remains to be seen at this juncture, however, is whether consumers will be quite as willing to forget about the previous data loss issues. Would you splash out for a T-Mobile Sidekick now? Do let us know, especially if you were previously considering availing yourself of one.
