Having already announced the Samsung Galaxy Spica (Galaxy I5700) in Russia, Samsung have seen fit to officially announce their Galaxy Spica (also known as the I5700) once again what with it now having hit Europe, CIS and currently pending release in both the Middle East and Africa.

Unsurprisingly there’s nothing in Samsung’s new press release that we didn’t know already, that being that the Android quadband GSM and dualband 900/2100 UMTS/HSPA Galaxy Spica, which is powered by a 800MHz processor, sports a 3.2” touchscreen display, comes with 128MB of integrated memory, has a built-in 3.2 megapixel camera and that it offers A-GPS functionality as well as a digital compass.
