Malata R108T Convertible Netbook Announced

In an effort to get a piece of the pie in the increasingly popular netbook market, the Chinese from Malata have announced that their affordable new Malata R108T convertible netbook has what it takes to get the eye with. Hidden under the stylish chassis, the new R108T features 1080p high-definition video graphics card, runs on an Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz) processors, with 1GB of memory and 160GB hard-drive.
On top of having a rotating 10-inch 1024 x 600 bright LED backlit LCD display with touchscreen capabilities and Chinese handwriting support, the Malata R108T ultraportable comes in either Ferrari Red, Piano Black, Coffee, Gold and Champagne, and boasts WiFi b/g/n connectivity, two USB 2.0 ports, VGA, audio in/out, a memory card reader and a 1.3-megapixel webcam. Running the show there’s Windows 7 and a Lithium Polymer safe 3,400mAh battery.

No word if the Malata R108T netbook is going to be available in the US or Europe any time soon, but we’re already jealous to know that the Chinese will get their hands on one for an affordable price of $475.
