
Those who had an eye for the new Timeline 1820P multitouch tablet should know that Acer officially rolled out a new ultraportable model in Italy, today. Dubbed Acer Aspire Timeline 1820PT, the device has made its way on the company’s Australian website with an 11.6-inch convertible design, Windows 7 Home Premium to run the show, both a multitouch display and a touchpad.
Keeping away from Atom processors, the Acer Aspire Timeline 1820PT packs an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 (1.2GHz) processor under the hood. It features an Intel GMA X4500MHD graphics card that does 1366 x 768 display resolutions, has up to 8GB RAM and 320GB storage. On top of these all, it also ships with 3G, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, an HDMI port, a card reader and powerful battery that will keep it running for 8 hours between charges.

I cant find on the Australian website any reference to the tablet supporting 8gig of ram or UMTS / HSPA?
