Although Verizon Wireless may have secured the number one spot for smartphone coverage this holidays season, other carriers are not going to sit back and lose a piece of the pie. A good example is T-Mobile who have added to their Android phone collection with the new Samsung Behold II.
Rumored for a November 18th release date, the new Samsung Behold II comes with a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, packs the uber confusing TouchWiz “cube” UI (that some say it slow downs the OS), runs on a rather sluggish processor and has Android 1.5 working in the back. — although we’d love the 2.0 Eclair. On top of that, you already know that there’s a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi connectivity, along with a microSD slot that allows for up to 16GB of storage space.
Rumors have it that the Samsung Behold II will cost you $449.99 or $22.50 monthly without a contract, and only $199 if you prefer to put your signature on a 2-year contract.
So is it worth going for the Behold II rather than the Motorola Droid?

Here are my impressions about Samsung Behold II phone:
Well equipped with multimedia facilities, use of AMOLED screen gives quite sharp and brighter colors. Use of android on this phone is arguably is the highlight.
There are many positive features about this phone, but a few
potential pitfalls for power users as well , Tech Wiz is not that great. The major concern is about the virtual keyboard using it in portrait made causes difficulties, so the only option left is using it in landscape mode.
