It didn’t took long for computer manufacturers to pack the almighty Intel Core i7 processors into notebooks, with new models popping up everyday. Another powerful addition to the market, that would compete with many desktop computers out there, is the new iBuyPower Batallion 101 that ranges from the 1.6GHz Core i7 to the 2GHz Core i7 Extreme.

Other than proving extremely fast, the new iBuyPower Batallion 101 W870CU comes with a 17.3″ Full HD 1920X1080 Widescreen LCD TFT display and packs a GeForce GTX 280M graphics card that pushes things enough to smoothly play demanding games “on the go”. On top of that, it also features a w/eSATA port, Bluetooth (EDR) connectivity, a Fingerprint Reader and a Li-Polymer 3800mAh battery to properly feed the processor.

Price wise, a basic configuration that brings 4GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive would cost somewhere around $2,114, while the 8GB RAM model with Blu-ray would sell just shy of $3,043. Expect it to ship in about 8 days if their website data is correct!
