There’ still room in the eReader market or at lest the folks from Dulin’s Book — an upstart independent ereader reseller from the Pacific NW — think so, otherwise they wouldn’t have announced two new models for the US market. Dubbed Dulin PocketBook 360 and PocketBook 301+, both models feature multi-language support and will start shipping in about two weeks.
Of the two, the Dulin’s Book PocketBook 360 is the latest in the company’s e-reader collection. It features a 5-inch e-Ink Vizplex display, 512MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot for expansion (up to 32 GB), a 400 MHz Samsung processor and a Linux-based OS. Available with a wonderful ergonomic design in either Ivory or Black, the new PocketBook 360 also brings a position sensor for using with either hand or in landscape and will set you back $240.
As for the PocketBook 301+, it’s not much different except for the larger 6-inch e-Ink Vizplex display and some expanded media playback and game options. Hence why the $275 price tag.
Both models features support for a full range of ebook formats (including EPUB).
