Xbox 360 Wireless Network N Adapter Confirmed

Last week Microsoft has released a software update that would provide WPA2 support for the upcoming Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter N, and that got us pretty excited knowing that the Xbox 360 will soon be getting support for the new speedier Wi-Fi 802.11n standard. But imagine our disappointment when we heard that the N Networking adapter has made an appearance (at $100) in a GameStop.com catalog, only for it to be later taken off.
Today however we learned that the device has been officially announced. Apparently the Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter has made a comeback on Costco for $87.99 (and on Amazon for $99.99) and has been confirmed to ship starting November 10th.
Featuring a compact, high-performance design, the new device is dual band 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wireless a/b/g home network compatible. On top of that it also brings Windows Vista Media Center support, allows users to stream multimedia content from Windows-based PCs and since it speedier at up to 300MBps it will be possible to stream high-definition video content across the network and offer maximum coverage and data-rates.
The only thing is that you’ll need a Wireless-N router to take advantage of these goodies.
