Enough with the stylish smartphones that get the eye with their looks and specs but can’t be dropped down when running after the buss without breaking, check out one the toughest mobile phones out there, the new Casio G’zOne Brigade. Geared for a release on Verizon Wireless, the new G’zOne Brigade is a fully ruggedized, weatherproof, Push to Talk QWERTY clamshell that is as solid as a tank.
On top of being MIL-SPEC certified (a military standard for water, shock, dust, humidity, salt fog, altitude, high temperature, low temperature and solar radiation resistance), the new Casio G’zOne Brigade is ready to get your heart with a flip out QWERTY keyboard with large and very clickable keys, a 3.2 megapixel camera (with flash) and 3G connectivity. On the outside it comes with a small display with basic access to menu features, icons and status indicators, along with a numeric keypad.
Software-wise, while you’re swimming in the pool you’ll be able to view documents (MS Office & PDF files) because the handset runs the full gamut of V CAST applications.
The new Casio Brigade will be available later this year from Verizon Wireless for a yet to be known price.
