Looking for a little device that can act both as a PMP and a mobile phone that won’t break the bank for you? Then we think you should know that the new Nokia X3, an affordable music phone announced back in September, have now just passed the FCC accreditation.
A slider handest with a stylish design, the new X3 doesn’t pack 3G support, comes with a 3.5mm headset jack, a bunch of dedicated touch music keys on the side, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, stereo speakers and stereo FM radio. Other goodies for Nokia X3 include a 2.2 inch QVGA display (320 x 240 pixles), a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash (it’s great when you try to snap a photo in the club), a microSD card slot and access to the Ovi store.
What we know so far is that Nokia X3 is going to run with a Series 40 user interface and will be released in Europe for 115 Euro (some $170 at today’s rate) as an unlocked mobile phone that you can use with any carrier you’ve signed for. As for the US customer, we’re not yet certain if it reaches the US shores, but if it does, the X3 will probably be priced close to $150.
