Nokia Booklet 3G Mini Laptop

A couple of weeks ago we broke it that the new Nokia Booklet 3G, is going to be released on an exclusive deal with O2 in Germany starting October 22. But things took longer than expected and the company’s first mini laptop went live in Europe today, shipping for €249 upfront (some $370) and then €20 (some $30) per month on a 2-years data plan, or an optional flat rate data tariff of €25 (some $30) per month.

But let’s not be jealous on our friends from Germany. If sales started to kick in for O2 customers, in the US the 10.1-inch Booklet 3G pre-orders have begun with the netbook going for $300 on an AT&T Data Connect plan two-year activation.

For those who can’t remember it, Nokia Booklet 3G features a 10.1-inch display that does 1,280 x 720 resolutions, is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 CPU, has 1GB RAM, a 120GB HDD and brings Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) connectivity. On top of that, the aluminum housing also features a built-in accelerometer, SIM card support, HDMI output and a long lasting battery that can perform for 16 hours between charges.

So anyone for a trip to Berlin? :)
