Sprint Palm Pixi Becomes Official

A few weeks ago we were pretty solid that the Palm Pixi from October 20, but things took a wrong twist and the company’s second webOS handset needs one more month before getting in stores. That’s because Sprint and Palm went official today and announced that November 15 is going to be the first day of nationwide availability for the little Pixi.

In a press release today, Sprint revealed what we already knew, that the Palm Pixi comes with a visible full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.63-in multi-touch TFT capacitive touchscreen display (320×400 resolution) with gestural navigation. On top of that there’s Bluetooth, 8GB of built-in memory to store the pictures and videos you take, integrated GPS for location-based services and an accelerometer. Connectivity wise, you’ll have to count on Sprint’s EV-DO Rev. A network for Internet access as there’s no Wi-Fi.

Palm Pixi will be available on Sprint starting November 15th and will cost just $99.99 with a two-year service agreement, after a $50 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate.
