BlackBerry Confirm BlackBerry OS 5.0 Update Supported Devices

By way of a brief heads up for those of you with BlackBerry smartphones who are hanging for the BlackBerry OS 5.0 Update, which is rumoured to potentially release as soon as tomorrow, as BlackBerry have now officially confirmed which devices will support its up and coming OS update.

According to BlackBerry, if you own one of the following smartphones, you’re sorted:

• BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8200 series smartphones
• BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphones
• BlackBerry Curve 8350i smartphones
• BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphones
• BlackBerry Bold 9000 smartphones
• BlackBerry Storm 9500 series smartphones
• BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphones

Interestingly the keen eyed amongst you will note that the BlackBerry Curve 8520, somewhat curiously, isn’t listed above though we readily assume its omission to be an oversight on BlackBerry’s behalf as there’s little doubt that the Curve 8520 will make the grade (it would be genuinely shocking if it didn’t).
