Yamaha PDX-60 iPhone/iPod Dock now Released

Yamaha have now released their PDX-60 iPhone/iPod Portable Player Dock (which, incidentally, we initially featured here on TFTS back in July) which, thanks to utilising Yamaha’s yAired wireless technology, allows you to remotely locate your iPod or iPhone whilst listening to the ‘superior sound quality’ of the PDX-60 dock – meaning you can keep your device at immediately hand whilst listening to your tunes.

Billed as offering simple, convenient operation thanks to yAired wireless connectivity which, unlike Bluetooth, does not require you to pair the transmitter that attaches to your iPod iPhone with the dock, the Yamaha PDX-60 Portable Player Dock sports bass-reflex speakers and dual 3-1/4” full-range cone woofers and should you not wish to use the wireless transmitter (which won’t recharge your device) you also have the option of docking your iPod/iPhone directly thanks to a top mounted docking port which will see your device gaining a juice refresh.
Purportedly compatible with all iPhone variants as well as with the iPod Touch, iPod Classic and iPod Nano, the Yamaha PDX-60 Portable Player Dock is available in black, gray, blue and, yes, pink and will set you back just shy of $300.
