Dell SX2210T 21.5-inch SX2210T MultiTouch Monitor Unveiled

After seeing Streak, the company’s 5-inch Android MID, it’s quite obvious that it’s Dell-day today, as the Texas-based company has unveiled their first touchscreen monitor. Dubbed Dell SX2210T, the new 21.5-inch 1080p panel adds support for touch control and thanks to the optical touch technology it manages +/- 2.5mm accuracy over 95-percent of the surface, no matter if you’re using your fingers or a stylus — although I’m pretty sure they didn’t test it with my fingers.
Keeping away from the standalone touchscreen monitor, Dell’s SX2210T is a 1920 x 1080 21.5-inch panel that has HDMI and DVI inputs, an integrated 2 megapixel webcam and microphone for your video calls on Skype, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and a fast 2ms response time.
On top of these, one of the main features is that the multitouch Dell SX2210T will allow for both panning and zooming when hooked up on a Windows 7 computer — after you hook up an extra USB connection for the touch signal, that is.
Although it doesn’t seem to be capable to lean back so that you can adjust the viewing angle, we wouldn’t mind one in the office. Price is $469!
