Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Android Smartphone [XPERIA X10 to Replace the X3 or Rachel as Sony's First Android]

Remember Sony’s XPERIA X3 or the Rachel smartphones, that were supposed to be the company’s first Android handsets to reach the market? Well, things may have changed as we’ve heard that Sony Ericsson is actually going to be branded XPERIA X10 instead of the above.
According to a Tweakers forum member — Sjef Sjef — who have played with the new Sony XPERIA X10, we’re looking at a release date well set back for February next year, instead of the November this year. Apparently the Android-powered smartphone is “super flat” and a bit rounded, comes with a rather large display competing with HTC’s Touch HD, is very light and impressively speedy.
Although Sjef Sjef had his hands on the phone for a while, there’s not much else concerning Sony’s first Android mobile so we’ll have to do with the specs we knew so far. The 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, an 8-megapixel camera, HSUPA 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g and A-GPS connectivy.
Meanwhile we’re ready to see what the Sony XPERIA X2 has to offer, as it’s is due to become available soon.
