You have a new full HD movie and the buds coming over to see it, but you need a bigger screen to accommodate everyone, then you may need to consider a projector. But not any projector, how about one that promises amazing brightness, stunning colors and great contrast rate? Well, Sanyo has the exact thing. We’re speaking of the company’s new PLC-XF1000 projector that features a dual-lamp architecture and brags with the industry’s highest brightness of 12,000 lumens, for an AC 100V.
Specs wise the new Sanyo LP-XF1000 is equipped with two high-output 330-watt lamps that not only improve light efficiency by 20-percent, it also delivers more realistic projection images thanks to its 4,000:1 contrast ratio. More to it, the LP-XF1000 features an improved QuaDrive optical engine that steps in to add a so-called “‘Color Control Device’ to the conventional 3LCD system” to control yellow light independently.
Meant for outdoor displays or digital signage, Sanyo LP-XF1000 brings an Active Maintenance Filter (AMF) to reduce maintenance costs and labor, thanks to the filter cartridge replacement. On top of that there’s also a mechanical shutter which blocks the projection light if needed, and also the easy stacking grooves that allows you to place a back-up unit on top.
Connection wise there’s VGA, HDCP-compliant DVI-D, component and S-video output, while native resolution for the new LP-XF1000 is 1024×768. Expect the Sanyo LP-XF1000 to be released in December with a MSRP of $24,995 –no lens included.
