Dane-Elec So SuperSpeed USB 3.0 External HDDs / SSDs

After being silent for over an year now, the nice chaps from Dane-Elec have finally announced something new for us to crave for. We’re talking about their new So SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external hard drives that range between 500GB and 2TB, while on top of that the company is also bragging with the “world’s first USB 3.0 Solid State Drive”
About 10 times faster than USB 2.0 devices and available in both 2.5-in and 3.5-in formats (suiting both laptops and desktop computers) the new Dane-Elec So SuperSpeed external hard drives are expected to work at data transfer speeds of up to 250MBps. As for the SSD Premium SuperSpeed drives, which are Intel M-25 branded, they’re expected to be announced in 80GB and 160GB options and should be just as fast.
The new Dane-Elec So SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external drives (HDD and SSD) should be soon taking on the US market, with a release date set for December 11th. On top of that, Dane-Elec will also be offering USB 3.0 compatible adapters for desktops and laptops (PCIe & PCIXpress slots) so that users could take advantage of the increased speeds on their current machines that don’t have USB 3.0 ports.
