Pure have introduced their latest portable DAB/DAB+ radio in the form of the beautifully retro inspired Pure Elan II which, along with also offering an FM tuner with RDS, comes with ReVu technology allowing for the pausing and rewinding DAB/DAB+ broadcasts.

Aside from offering access to DAB, DAB+ and FM radio programming, the Pure Elan II naturally touts alarm clock functionality whilst also acting as a kitchen countdown timer (giving us some indication as to where Pure think the Elan II will see placement within a home) whilst a line-in connection will allow you to hook up external audio equipment, such as DAPs, PMPs, CD players and the like,  the Elan II consequently serving as an external speaker offering 2x .25W output courtesy of two full range 3” drive units.

The Pure Elan II Portable DAB/DAB+ radio, which can be both mains and battery powered (a rechargeable power pack being sold separately should you not want to throw money away on standard batteries) will set you back just short of £100.
