AT&T Dell Vostro 1520 3G Laptop

AT&T have announced the immediate availability of the 3G enabled Dell Vostro 1520 laptop which is being aimed specifically at small business owners who are looking to ‘mobilize their business’.

The 3G touting Dell Vostro 1520 is offered with a wide choice of Windows Vista and XP operating systems and various CPUs topping out with an 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 processor, whilst coming with up to 8GB 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM, a choice of either Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500MHD or 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS graphics and, whilst the screen size is limited to 15.4” Dell offer various options here too taking in two premium WXGA+ (1440 x 900 resolution) displays offering either anti-glare or TrueLife or a lesser WXGA (1280 x 800) LED display.

In terms of storage capacity you’re looking at choices between a 250GB 7200rpm HDD either with or without encryption or a 128GB SSD whilst you also have optional extras such as an integrated biometric fingerprint reader up for grabs.

Our 3G service allows small businesses to send and receive e-mail, including large attachments; access the Internet, including corporate intranets or VPNs; and perform business applications almost anywhere they can make a wireless phone call.”

Pricing of the AT&T Dell Vostro 1520 3G enabled laptop starts at around $633 based on you signing up to AT&T’s DataConnect 5GB monthly service plan for two years .
