Flip Video Flip MinoHD Premium (2nd Gen MinoHD) Announced [Updated MinoHD Boasts 8GB Capacity, New FlipShare Software, Revised Styling]

Flip Video have acted to cement their somewhat elevated position in the pocket ‘YouTube’ camcorder market with the introduction of the 2^nd Generation Flip MinoHD, or premium Flip MinoHD as they bill it, which serves to build upon the phenomenal success of the 1^st Gen Flip MinoHD by offering increased onboard storage capacity as well as a cool, brushed aluminium body – though, of course, you still have the option of personalising it with an array of designs offered via the Flip website should the brushed aluminium not quite do it for you.

On and above the increased 8GB capacity, which will see you good for up to two hours of 720p HD video capture, the new 2^nd Gen Flip MinoHD still hasn’t gained onboard image stabilisation but its does come with a 2” anti-glare 960 x 240 resolution screen and an upgraded version of the FlipShare software suite allowing easy uploading to site such as Facebook, YouTube and MySpace whilst debuting a feature called Magic Movie which, according to Flip Video’s press release ‘automatically trims and arranges a user’s selected video content into their own movie’.
