Acer Liquid A1 Android Smartphone Becomes Official

Rumors concerning Acer’s first Android-powered smartphone have finally been confirmed with the release of the new Acer Liquid A1. Other than running one of the most advanced operating systems today, the new Acer Liquid has been proudly introduced with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that not only promises speed but also supports 3D graphics, making for a fine high definition smartphone to play out with.
In terms of specifications and features, the Acer Liquid comes with a WVGA 800×480 capacitive touchscreen and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, geo-tagging, ISO and a self-timer, while high speed web access is available over HSPA 3G networks.
The new Acer Liquid comes with a brand new customized UI that focuses on entertainment and web-integration, has better power management (sounds good since the 1GHz Snapdragon CPU is a real energy hog) and built-in address book integration with social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Picasa, Flickr and the bunch.
Dubbed as the “world’s first Snapdragon and Android 1.6 smartphone”, the new Acer Liquid A1 sure has what it takes to charm us. Too bad there’s not much info we can brief you on.
