HTC HD2 to Arrive in UK on October 19

We have covered the HTC HD2 aka Leo extensively from the first rumors regarding HTC’s flagship Windows Mobile 6.5 phone to the actual press release filled with official details that pretty much confirmed everything we told you before.
Therefore it’s only our duty to bring all the HD2-related rumors and news to you as fast as possible. Today we have some good news for you. In less than ten days from now, on October 19, O2 will start selling the device. The release date has apparently been leaked, or intentionally disclosed, by none others than O2’s customers service reps. With such reliable sources the launch date seems almost certain. Sure O2 might change their mind and launch the phone on a different date but why would they? After all the handset is one of the best phones ever made by HTC and it’s definitely going to be the best Windows Mobile 6.5 phone available in stores in the near future.
One couldn’t possibly ignore that 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that comes with multitouch support and especially that Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor which is a real asset considering that this phone is running Windows Mobile after all. The HD2 has even more impressive features like HSPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and two LED flash. The only thing that could convince you not to buy it would be Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.5. Let’s face it folks, Microsoft’s mobile OS is still a few furlongs behind the competition and people will be waiting anxiously for WinMo 7 to arrive.
That shouldn’t stop you from getting it! After all you could always return it or sell it if it doesn’t meet your expectations. Since we’re speaking about buying and selling the HTC HD2, we’ll have to shamefully admit we don’t have any pricing information right now. But maybe you could call O2’s customer report and ask around about prices! Don’t tell them we sent you!
