Blaze PS3 Motion Freedom 3D Controller Unveiled

Blaze, a UK based accessory manufacturer, has unveiled a new 3D motion sensing controller for the PS3, known as the Blaze PS3 Motion Freedom 3D Controller, which will bring WiiMote styled control to PS3 gamers from a device that bears more than a passing similarity to Nintendo’s own controllers.
Details at this juncture are pretty sparse, however, whilst the company’s press release offers nothing by way of insight as to the PS3 Motion Freedom 3D Controller’s release date or unit pricing it does, at lease, offer us a glimpse as to what we should expect from the device when it eventually sees the light of day.

The BLAZE PS3 Motion Freedom 3D Controller thrusts the PS3 gamer into the very heart of the action by employing the latest motion sensing technology which before now has only been the reserve of Nintendo Wii gamers.
This all new device opens up unthinkable gaming possibilities allowing you to interact and become one with the hottest PS3 sporting and action titles.
Sega Tennis becomes a whole new ball game when you use the new BLAZE controller to smash your opponent into submission, effortlessly and consistently firing deadly accurate backhands and meteoric volleys.
Take a big swing and drive your way to glory with the Tiger Woods Golf series. Put yourself on the virtual golf course when you use the Freedom 3D controller as your club of choice to send the ball home with pinpoint accuracy. Just remember, it’s all in the hips!
The intuitive button layout allows easy navigation of all game menus with amazing familiarity, incorporating a directional D-pad, analogue stick and the full brace of controls found on the original PS3 control pad.
The BLAZE PS3 Motion Freedom 3D Controller has been ergonomically designed from the ground up to give superior gaming comfort when the going gets tough, ensuring you are in complete control no matter how full-on the game play gets!
As we say, no word concerning either pricing of availability at this stage but, in the meantime, we cannot help but wonder what Nintendo’s take on the controller’s design is as they really are startlingly similar (and, as we have reported on in the past, Nintendo are well known to guard the design of their peripherals with all the subtlety and restraint of a Pit Bull).

it looks pretty good but i feel sorry for nintendo because they were the first to bring it out and now people are copying it i think they sould join together and make a ps-wii(playstation-wii) then you could have the wiis controller but the ps3s dvd abilitys then nintendo and sony would halve the money and have the ultimate gaming system that u can it down and play games without having to ju p about but have wii games and ps3 games combined in 2 ps-wii games and if have ps3 or wii games you can still play thme in it it would maybe be a best seller but i wouldnt buy it a soon as it came out because i just got my ps3 so i would wait a while before getting it
