Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 Full HD LED Monitor

Samsung have just confirmed that their ‘premium’ SyncMaster XL2370 Full HD LED monitor, which is ideally suited to gaming not least due to boasting a response time of just 2ms and which, incidentally, hit the Japanese market back in August, is now, at last, gaining a wider roll out.

In terms of specifications the Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 LED monitor offers up a\ 23” 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution 16:9 aspect ratio display, the aforementioned 2ms response time, a dynamic contrast ration of 5,000,000:1 whilst, from the perspective of energy consumption, the XL2370 requires just 26W which, for a display of this size, whilst not the best we’ve seen, is not unimpressive.
“Consumers can generally buy a monitor for relatively cheap, but the XL2370 satisfies our customers’ appetite for an ultra slim LED HD quality monitor that is visually appealing,” said Young Bae, director, Information Technology Division, Samsung Electronics America Inc. “This monitor is a great addition for users that need enhanced video capabilities to watch movies and play games in high definition.”
The Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 Full HD LED Monitor, which will set you back around $299, is set to become available from Best Buy in the US from 12th October with wider availability from additional retailers coming shortly thereafter.
