T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Edition Android Phone

Whilst specific details as at the time of writing are decidedly sparse its now been confirmed that T-Mobile are to release an android powered phone officially sanctioned by none other then Fender, and to be known as the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Edition, some time this holiday season.
As alluded to above, we are particularly short concerning detail but we can confirm that, apart from being Android powered, the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Edition will sport a woodgrain finish (lovely) and will come with 16GB microSD card. Agreed, there really isn’t much to go on here but, if you want to see all we have to work with right now, here’s T-Mobile’s press blurb concerning the myTouch 3G Fender Edition, such as it is:
Perfect for the music lover, the T-Mobile® myTouch™ 3G Fender™ Limited Edition is the newest in the T-Mobile myTouch franchise. Anticipated for later this year, the myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition has a guitar-inspired wood-grain finish and provides access to the growing Android Market, which now offers more than 10,000 applications. In addition to offering the vast personalization options and integration of Google™ services available on the myTouch 3G, customers can also enjoy a more complete mobile media experience with a 3.5mm headset jack, pre-installed 16GB microSD card, and exclusive pre-loaded video and audio clips by iconic musicians.
As you can see, T-Mobile are playing this one close to their corporate chest – we don’t even have an image yet (we do now) - but the moment they offer up further details as well as a specific date of availability (and pricing information) we’ll act quickly to put you in the know.
