If you’re looking for a dual iPhone/iPod dock and the previously featured iHome iP88G and the iLuv iMM173 dual iPhone/iPod docking stations just don’t do it for you perhaps you may find this Sanyo DMP-692 Dual Dock Music System for iPod and iPhone more to your tastes.

Allowing you to simultaneously dock and charge two iPhone, two iPods or a mixture of the two, the Sanyo DMP-692 dual docking station purportedly offers ‘Amazing Audiophile Sound’ (Sanyo’s words, not ours) courtesy of two 2.5″ speaker drivers and an integrated passive subwoofer panel offering a maximum output of 5w per channel whilst Dynamic Bass Boost Control and five pre-set EQ settings allow you to adapt the output to your tastes (though not specifically to your tastes, being preset EQ settings and all).
In terms of control you’re looking at a backlit touchpanel whilst the Sanyo DMP-692’s pretty large (proportionately speaking) display will help you keep abreast of the time with dual alarms ensuing that those looking for a ‘his & hers’ iPhone/iPod dock can also program in individual alarm settings (great if you happen to work to differing timetables).

The Sanyo DMP-692 Dual Dock Music System for iPod and iPhone, which also comes with AM/FM radio complete with 40 programmable station presets and a remote, is set to retail at just shy of $90 – which, incidentally, makes it some $60 cheaper than the aforementioned iHome iP88G dual dock.
