Powermat PMM-PT100 Wireless Charging Mat

Foldable PMM-PT100 Charging Mat For Up To Three Mobiles at Once

Powermat PMM-PT100 Wireless Foldable Charging Mat

Wireless charging seems to be the next big thing for electronic devices/gadgets, with mobile phones most likely spearheading the new tech. Among those who feel the same, the folks from Powermat have come up with a new solution, the PMM-PT100 foldable charging mat.

Other than looking sleek, the newly introduced Powermat PMM-PT100 is using the WildCharge technology that allows the device to charge multiple handsets at once and gives it enhanced compatibility and usability with a large number of devices. On top of being able to charge up to three mobile phones at the same time, the fold out device also features a single USB port for charging USB devices.

As good as it may sound, the fold out device actually has a drawback. Apparently, each phone you want to pump some electricity in, will require a specific adapter or case to charge. Although the system includes an universal Powercube receiver with eight tips, none matches the iPhone, RIM’s Blackberry or any of Sony’ devices.

The Powermat PMM-PT100 will be available in Best Buy and Target shops for $99.99, while each specific receiver will go for $39.99.
