Buffalo HD-HU3 USB 3 Hard Disk

We’ve already covered a fair few USB 3.0 touting devices here at TFTS but it looks as though buffalo are set to get the jump on everyone thanks to officially confirming that the Buffalo HD-HU3 USB 3.0 Hard Disk is set to become available as of this month in Japan.

The new Buffalo HD-HU3 USB 3.0 Hard Disks will initially be offered in 1TB and 1.5TB capacities with Buffalo set to add to the range with a 2TB USB 3.0 external HDD later (date as yet unspecified) and if you are wondering quite how you’ll hook one of these up the good news is that they will come bundled with and NEC IFC-PCIE2U3 2-port PCI Expressx1 host controller, as shown below, so you needn’t worry about connectivity issues.
