Revo have introduced their latest iPhone/iPod dock, the Revo DOMINO D3, which is aimed squarely at those looking for a multi source dock that, as well as serving as ‘traditional’ iPhone/iPod docking station, also takes onboard internet based audio streaming of services such as Last FM as well as offering access to DAB and DAB+ digital radio programming complete with RDS.

Sporting a somewhat retro design, the Revo DOMINO D3 comes with integrated OLED display and joystick based control allowing end users to access its myriad of functions with ease and when you consider just what’s on offer here in terms of possible sources, it’s a distinct positive that the control system acts to assist in selecting what you’re after quickly and in an uncomplicated fashion. And you’ll have plenty of sources to chose from as, if listening to your docked iPod or iPhone doesn’t appeal you can switch to FM radio (with RDS), DAB, DAB+ or, if you still hanker for more, you can access the many 1,000’s of broadcasts available via internet radio.
Boasting NXT’s patented ‘Balanced Radiator’ loudspeaker technology to ensure quality audio reproduction from what is a particularly compact device, the Revo DOMINO D3, which is Apple certified, incidentally, is set to commence shipping as of November 1st with the £169.95 asking price including a ‘free’ 30 day subscription to Last FM (which will cost you around £3 per month thereafter should you chose to retain access).
