Viliv S10 Touchscreen Netbook Announced [10" Viliv S10 With Touchscreen Display, 10hrs Battery Life and Windows 7 Home Premium]

Viliv S10 Netbook 1

The good thing about netbooks these days is that they’re truly ultraportable, have more than decent specs (including amazing battery life) and come in cheap if you compare them with laptops. These are probably the reasons for such a high demand, too. One of those companies who would love a slice from a pie that gets bigger and bigger, the folks over at Viliv have introduced their latest Viliv S10 netbook at the IDF gathering in San Francisco.

More renowned for their UMPCs and MIDs rather than netbooks, the new Viliv S10 netbook comes with a 10-inch resistive convertible touchscreen display (1,366 x 768), runs Windows 7 Home Edition and is powered by either 1.33GHz or 2GHz Intel Atom processors. Under the stylish casing there’s also the option for a 32GB or 64GB SanDisk SSD, optional 3G and 1GB of RAM memory.

One of the most interesting features of the new Viliv S10 (as most netbooks these days come in as a standard) is the really powerful battery that promises to keep the shows running for 10 hours straight. All these come with a price and it’s not that cheap : $500.
