Gigabyte GeForce GT220 OC Graphics Card

Whilst information is currently decidedly on the sparse side right now we couldn’t pass up on offering you an admittedly brief heads up concerning the just unveiled Gigabyte GeForce GT220 OC graphics card which, apart from stemming from a 40nm manufacturing process, touts a GT216-300 GPU clocked at 720MHz paired with 1600MHz 1GB of 128-bit GDDR3 memory.

Of the little information that’s currently in the wild, on and above the aforementioned features, additional notable highlights concerning the Gigabyte GeForce GT220 OC include 48 stream processors, 80mm cooling fan with dual slot cooler – serving to visibly distinguish this card from Nvidia’s reference card – whilst, in terms of connectivity, you can factor in VGA, DVI outputs and, of course, onboard HDMI

There’s no official word concerning unit pricing as at the time of writing but if initial reports are to be believed the Gigabyte GeForce GT220 OC is set to hit retail from October.

We’ll get you an update specifically concerning unit pricing the moment we get further details.
