About a month ago we broke the story that the new Samsung Omnia Pro B7330 is slated for launch in October, but we never thought Samsung will be that fast in giving us an official announcement/release date. An upgraded version of the B7320 (which runs on WM6.1), the new Samsung Omnia Pro B7330 is a straightforward QWERTY smartphone that runs Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard and features a larger 2.63-inch display (320 x 320 resolution).
The new Omnia Pro B7330 is targeted to businessmen who require a versatile option for emailing and wireless internet use. With an appealing BlackBerry-esque design, the new smartphone comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, HSDPA 7.2 Mps, HSUPA 2.0 Mps and should pack a powerful 1500mAh battery for more juice while traveling.
Other than the Omnia Pro B7330 running WinMo 6.5, several other existing models like the i8000, B7320, B7300 and the B7610 will be getting a free upgrade to Microsoft’s smartphone OS.
As sleek as it may look, there’s no price leak as of now, only an official release date set for October.
