iPhone and iPod HD Video, but no new iPod Touch [Apple Event Rumors Hit The Wires Before Keynote Speech]

There’s less and hour before the Apple Keynote Event in San Francisco kicks in and some hot rumors just hit the wires. Although it was meant to focus solely on Apple’s music-related products, word is that Steve Jobs (if he’ll be present) will announce a most welcome feature — high-definition video output features for the iPod and the iPhone.
Everything leaked in a Harman Kardon press release saying that their Bridge III Universal Dock allows the receivers to “play back HD videos from iPod or iPhone products.”
Other than HD on iPhone and the iPod, Apple won’t bring any new iPod models on the market. Claiming reliable sources, AppleInsider got their hands on the entire new lineup of iPods complete with model numbers. Funny thing there will be significant changes to Nike+ technology, yet the capacities remain the same (apart from a 160GB iPod classic) and there is no iPod touch on the list.
Take it with a pinch of salt as we’re in the final countdown and things tend heat up like fire. We’ll keep you updated!
