APSI of Korea have announced their latest personal navigation system in the form of the APSI C100 PND which, as well as serving as a fully featured GPs navigation system also boasts pretty comprehensive PMP capabilities all hosed within a convenient, highly portable and immensly desirable single solution.
Running software known as Gini 3D the APSI C100 takes in the whole of Korea in terms of mapping which includes what appears to be complete elevation data for terrain and, more impressively, even man-made structures such as buildings which is displayed in 3D on the device’s you can see in action in the imagery featured below.

Unfortunately, as at the time of writing, the only detailed information concerning the APSI C100 PND available to us is via Korean websites that wholly elude translation engines so we’re unable to bring you a detailed run-down of the C100’s full feature set and specifications (any Korean speaker out there could assist us here by dropping a comment below) but we can confirm that the C100 comes with A/V connectivity allowing for hooking up a rear mounted camera to aid in reversing as well as a DMB TV tuner, optional external GPS mouse port and is supplied complete with a docking cradle that’ll serve to replenish the device’s battery when docked.
Still, even without the full low-down concerning the device it’s clear that the APSI C100 PND is a seriously desirable device (if only for the mightily impressive Gini 3G UI) and you can rest assured that we’re out looking to furnish you with the full details as soon as we can either gain the assistance of a native Korean speaker or having worked to pick up Korean ourselves (we hope it’s the former).
