
Today in Japan, Acer announced two new LCDs to their monitor lineup with the new Acer HX2000 and the FHX3200, both targeted at the home user and the Home-theater market.
Acer HX2000 is a 20-inch LCD that does 1600 x 900 resolutions, sports a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits of brightness and a quick five millisecond response time.
On the other hand, the FHX3200 is a higher-end 32-inch panel. It has a 40000:1 contrast ratio, a 300 cd/m2 of brightness, and a 5 mllisecond response time . The FHX3200 has a full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, features HDMI output to allow you to hook up with your high definition devices — such as a PS3 or a Blu-ray player to enjoy high definition content the way it is meant to be enjoyed.
There’s no pricing information or a release date concerning the Acer HX2000, but the Acer FHX3200 will be priced at around 20,000 Yen (which is some $217 at today’s rate) and should go on sale in Japan soon.
