Offering 12 megapixel resolution, the Samsung ST45 comes with all the features you’d expect from a point and shoot compact which, along with features such as Digital Image Stabilisation, Face and Blink Detection and Samsung’s Smart Scene Recognition that offers up no less than eleven optimised picture modes that’ll be selected automatically by the camera according to shooting conditions and which take in such as Portrait, Night portrait, Macro and Macro Colour.

Along with sporting a 2.7″ QVGA resolution 230K color TFT LCD screen other notable features concerning the Samsung ST45 include ISO sensitivity up to ISO 3200 as what Samsung term as their Self Portrait & Frame Guide which, according to Samsung’s press release ‘means you no longer need to rely on the technological capabilities of strangers for those perfect holiday snaps’ in offering a ghost picture of a desired composition that allows you to pass the camera to someone else to take a shot in line with your expectations (they simply have to replicate the ghost image you’ve initially provided prior to exposure). Additionally you can also factor in a new Digital Contents Management system known as ‘Smart Album’ offering intuitive navigation of captured shots by date, colors, themes and contents which should see you accessing the images you’re seeking with the minimum of fuss.
